A
unique experience...
For many years the Martin Luther
Church invites youth for a one-week-camp to the Golden Lake. The Camp wants
to give children and youth in the age between 8 and 18 the opportunity to
have a good time with others and to enjoy the beautiful landscape and
activities around the lake, The counsellors are experienced youth leaders of
the church, who take care of the needs of the campers and provide an
interesting program with creative games and sports. Part of the program are
bible-studies which combine biblical stories with outdoor activities. The
campers sleep in cabins in groups of 10. Meals are cooked by the staff of
the Camp.
Please contact
us for further information.

The Rules of Camp Lutherlyn
(edited July 2006)
The Rules are meant for the common

counsellor, regardless of age. The rules of the camp will be enforced and
amended in the Christian spirit and as necessary by the camp counsellors,
under the direction of the Pastor and the Camp Director.
1.
All camp participants are to treat fellow campers and the surrounding
environment in the Christian spirit of respect, compassion and understanding
2.
All campers are invited to participate in the planned group programme
to the best of their ability. Venturing off camp property, or away from the
area where activities are being undertaken is not permitted.
3.
Radios / walkmans / Gameboys / personal electronics – are permitted
at camp for use during private time in the cabins, as long as their use
doesn’t interfere with the camp schedule and the harmony of the other
campers.
4.
Food / Snacks - are permitted to campers. All food must be kept in
“Schmieder Hall”. Snacks are meant to be consumed after meals, and/or before
bedtime.
