It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the sudden passing away of one of our most dedicated members of our church, only half a year after we had to bid farewell to her husband Olaf. May the family and all to whom Else was so dear find strength and hope by trusting in the promises of our Risen Lord Jesus Christ.

 

 Else Weigelin (nee von Lieven)
January 24, 1931 Riga, Latvia  – January 26, 2010 Toronto

 Passed away suddenly on January 26, 2010 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Olaf Weigelin. Loving mother of Birgit Finnigan, Martin, Christine Eastmure, Susan Skinner and Erik, Oma will be missed by her 11 grandchildren. Sister of Herbert von Lieven. Oma will be remembered by family and many friends in Canada and Germany.

Jesus Christ says, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also."
