Für Sonntag, den 12. Februar
2012, laden wir zu einem besonderen Familiengottesdienst ein.
Hier wird Magnus Hjerpe, der uns als Gitarrist von den
Neujahrsjazzgottesdiensten gut bekannt ist, seinen
Zeichentrickfilm “Hoggie & Snip” präsentieren. Mit diesem
Kinderfilm, den er letztes Jahr produziert hat, war Magnus an
mehreren Filmfestivals beteiligt. Jung und Alt können sich auf
diesen besonderen Spaß freuen, am 12. Februar im Gemeinsamen
Gottesdienst um 11.00 Uhr.Herzliche

Please find our February 2012 Newsletter on our website ready to

For Sunday, February 12, 2012 we very
cordially invite to a special Family Service. Magnus Hjerpe,
who is well known in our church as being the
guitarist of the new year jazz services, is going to present his
animation film “Hoggie & Snip”. He produced this last year and
presented it at several film festivals. This will be in
the Joint Service at 11:00 a.m. on Feb 12th.

Pastor Alexander Mielke Who we are We are a bilingual, Lutheran congregation
serving the Canadian and German community. We provide day care for 72
children and are proud to have many excellent relationships to organizations
and churches in the area. We are part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada (ELCIC) and the Protestant
Church of Germany (EKD). We support a day care centre in Sao Paulo,
Brazil. We have a radio devotion every Sunday in German on a
multicultural radio station AM530 and church services
in German at 11:00 a.m. and in English at 9:45 a.m.
Wer wir sind Die Martin Luther Kirche ist eine zweisprachige, lutherische Gemeinde,
die sich an deutsch- und englischsprachige Menschen wendet. Wir haben
einen Kindergarten mit 72 Plätzen und sind stolz auf unsere guten
Beziehungen zu den umliegenden Kirchengemeinden und Organisationen. Wir gehören der
Evangelisch-Lutherischen Kirche in Kanada (ELCIC) und der Evangelischen
Kirche in Deutschland, (EKD), an. Wir unterstützen einen
Kindergarten in Sao Paulo, Brasilien. Wir haben eine Radioandacht am Sonntag
AM530 und Gottesdienste in Deutsch 11 Uhr und Englisch 9.45 Uhr.
Martin Luther Church Daycare Our child daycare is a small centre which offers a family type, personalized
atmosphere and full-day programs to children from the ages of 18 months to
6 years. We deliberately chose to remain a small facility to create a
comfortable and warm environment to which children can adjust quickly and
where they feel safe, secure and happy. We believe that a child learns through play. Therefore, we provide a
child-centred program with a "learning by doing" approach. All
our fulltime teachers have recognized Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.)
diplomas. Our staff members guide children through the stages of physical,
emotional, cognitive and social growth by exposing them to: physical
exercise, arts and crafts, story reading, supervised naps, singing,
educational toys, etc. We provide an understanding, loving, challenging and intriguing place
for your child to learn and grow.
